So Friday night Mom and I head to Kohls because well I got this 30% off coupon for there and it just so happens that we needed a new vacuum cleaner. While I'm in Kohls, which never is a quick trip, I decide to look around at everything and ended up with this REALLY cute new purse which I'm excited about because not only is it fashionable, but I can fit my camera in it and still be cute! Woo-hoo! So we pick out a vacuum that is regularly $209 and by the time you take the sales price minus the 30% it was like $100. Pretty cool, right? Well, I'm carrying it out of the store and I may be the only person I know who can ram the stupid thing into the door and hit herself in the cheek and get a bruise. Hello, my name is Dawn and I'm clumsy. I didn't curse, though I wanted to, but it was a family friendly environment and you never know if your dance students are lurking around! haha Good news is the vacuum cleaner freakin' rocks! It's some magnificent animal hair picker uper (which was the final selling point). And you never know how bad your vacuum cleaner was before the new one until you use it and it makes you sick at all the crap it sucks out of your carpet. WOW!
On Saturday Mom and I went to see "Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day." It's a good movie. And the entire movie takes place in one full day. Well, I liked it. I'd say save it for a rental. The rest of the day I spent lounging on the couch. Which was nice. Laziness is always nice in my opinion perhaps because I don't get to do it that often! So I didn't make it to see No Justice at Hat Tricks, but I did get a few calls from RRB, so that was enough.
Yesterday, I did more of the lounging and then took on the task of shaving my dog's coat for summer. Plus the mats had gotten out of hand and I was tired of brushing it! haha So, now he's super cute and so proud of his new look. He's been prancing around the backyard. Cracks me up.
For those interested, Deidre text me this morning and told me the boy from London is great. He got here last night. I will meet him tomorrow and let you all know how that goes.
Have a great week!
