I was just perusing the blogs listed to the right and found it interesting that some of them had removed me from their lists of blogs they read. So, I know I'm not that interesting of a person, but for some reason I took it personally. I know that's ridiculous, but I just sorta felt rejected. I mean really I don't have any kids to post pictures of and I haven't discovered a cure for cancer and I haven't written a hit song and I haven't been on any exciting trips. I have hit a point in my life where everything is status quo.
I understand I hadn't written since April. That was only 2 months ago!
I'm gonna blame it on the restrictions that have been placed on me and my co-workers. Myspace AND Facebook have been blocked. We were all told to make a list of websites that we only use for company business then the rest were going to be blocked as well. I can understand why. And I'm fine with it. It's just sad that it had to come down to that.
This week is an entire week of dance. I think the only day/night i don't have anything dance related is Friday. I'm tired already and it's only Wednesday.
I've decided that I'm in love with a boy. He may never realize that I am because well if you know me then you know I'm never going to tell him. And I don't think I'm a very good flirter, which is probably one of the reasons I'm not married....or well, don't have a boyfriend. But I'm just putting it out there on the interent since apparently no one reads this anymore anyway that I fancy someone and that's probably all it's ever going to amount to.

Happy Easter!
Well, once a month updating isn't so bad, right?
As of right now I'm a week into a really bad sinus infection/bronchitis. After $100 worth of prescriptions, I've still got a stuffed up head. My chest feels better and I'm not coughing so much, but if my ears would just pop I'd be one happy girl. I've resorted to sticking cotton in whichever ear is open so I don't feel like I'm suffering from vertigo. My allergist told me if the infection wasn't better when I returned in 2 weeks I would have to go see my ENT again to see if there's scar tissue in my nose from my surgery I had 3 years ago. My cat scan came back normal, so I don't have any polyps up there...whatever that means. I'm just ready to feel better.
I had a great time with Jamie in Aransas Pass for Spring Break. I caught a fish! Actually it looks like a mini shark, but I have my picture taken with it and everything! It was fun. Jamie, however, not a fan of the fishing. She cracks me up. We got to see dolphins out in the bay. It was beautiful there. We even saw Ryan James, Wade Bowen, EYB, and RRB. It had been 2 long years since I'd seen Randy. Awe Randy how I had missed him! He was fabulous! Anyways, I hope I'm able to go again with her this summer.
The following Thursday I went to Adairs for Drew Kennedy and Rodney Hayden with the girls and had a scrumptious burger and fries. On Friday we saw EYB at HOB. This band, Trailer Park Choir opened for them. If you have never seen a 300 pound man do the worm, you must youtube them and see if someone has gotten a video of it. Good gracious it was funny. Not exactly a band I would choose to open for EYB, but it was certainly different. EYB sounded fabulous. Way better than the week before in Corpus. I won't mention what I thought of that show.....Saturday I met up with Heather at Adairs. That was fun. Never a dull moment there! Then Sunday we went to the first TXRDR backyard bar-b-que in Ft. Worth to see some Mike Eli acoustic greatness. He played a new song he wrote with Blu Sanders, "War On A Desperate Man." So freakin good. I heart him.
Last weekend I hardly made it out of the house because I started getting sick. And well I've already mentioned how my week has been. Tonight I'm going to try and make it to Jason Boland at Hanks with everyone. Hopefully my head will either explode before then or I'll be sporting my cool cotton in my ears. Everyone will be jealous I'm sure!
Everyone have a Happy Easter!

I forgot I had a blog apparently.....
Or maybe I just haven't been into writing. I hardly get on the computer anymore since I have the iPhone that checks everything from e-mail to facebook to twitter. What did I do before the iphone? Oh yeah, I blogged....
Well I have no idea what I wrote about last time, so let me tell you what I've done the past few weekends....
Saturday before last I went with Deidre to see Solly at The AllGood Cafe. We ate at Monica's before heading 3 doors down or whatever to AGC. Interesting place, I had never been there for a show. Some random man named Bob who is supposedly in some movie about him or something was there. I'm positive he wasn't all there mentally. But, he brought his little casio keyboard and an American flag and his hard hat. While Solly played he stood in front of the stage, faced the audience and held the keyboard up and bopped his head. When he got tired of that, he sat down put on his hard hat and waved his American Flag while drinking his coke. The show was over before 10 so Deidre and I headed to Adairs. Nate Kipp or someone was playing. I just remember him playing alot of covers. I only remember this because I drank 5 redbull/vodkas in one night. You read that right. Michelle came out after her shift to hang out with us. We met some random guy who told us that he started coming there when we were probably 12. He proceeded to tell us that he loved everybody because he was rich. Apparently he's worked hard all of his life...you know like none of us apparently do. I won't be mean though because not only did he buy us a round of drinks but when he got ready to leave he gave us $100 to pay our tab at the end of the night. We tried to give it back to him, but he was insistent. We just had to hug him a few times and talk to him, so thank you to the powers that be for that nice gesture :) I'm sure Lil Joel was enjoying the $30 or so tip he got with the change. Other random things from the night include fake purses, drunk grandmas, grandmas in fur, propositions for make out sessions in the beer closet, and singalongs with the band. The next day was not very pleasant. I barely made it from the bed to the couch and back.
Fast forward to this past weekend. Deidre and I went to the North TX Irish Festival at Fair Park on Friday night. We were done with it by 9:30. So where else should we go but Adairs for Owen Temple. I really like Owen Temple. Not only is he really nice, I actually enjoyed his music. I had a whopper of a headache by the time I was ordering my 2nd drink. Lil Joel graciously had some excedrin to give me. Excedrin, a coke, and a grilled cheese sandwich cures most headaches, I'm sure of it. I didn't drink anything close to like I did the weekend before, so all in all it was fun. Some random things from that night include, "I don't remember seeing kilts when WE were in Ireland," ice fight between Deidre and Big Joel, Deidre's new liquor closet bedroom, $3 koozies as opposed to my free one, designing koozies, bathroom plungers, and realizations that the reason Deidre and I are single is because we aren't the girl right now we are the type of girl you marry.
On Saturday night we went to see some Brauns at Hanks. Stu made a last minute roadtrip up here for the show...I mean it was his birthday and all! Chanda came out too. It was like a friend reunion show....minus Sara, Heather, V, and Jamie. Ok, so maybe it wasn't but I saw people I haven't seen in a really long time. We even ran into Adam from galleywinter. Most memorable comment (made by Stu), "I love you Gary Braun. Gary Braun you make my heart smile." So when the show was over, because shows are usually over at Hanks before 12, we all headed to, you guessed it, Adairs. I think I'm becoming a regular. I know nothing about Emory Quinn who was playing. I'm sure he was singing, but I don't remember one thing about him. It was crowded. There were cute boys. Chanda taking 1000 pictures. Mike Mancy sighting. Drunk Stu dancing. And a million other things going on. I had 2 drinks and a large water. It was fun. I wasn't happy about getting home at 4 when it was really 3, but what's a girl to do. I think I've had more of a social life in the past 2 weeks than I have in a year.
I have officially put myself on an Adair's hiatus until Drew Kennedy plays there on the 26th.
On this weeks agenda: Thriving Ivory at The Loft on Thursday, St. Patty's Day parade with the girls on Saturday, then my favorite Kristin's b-day whirlyball party Saturday night, "The Pajama Game" musical with mom on Sunday afternoon, and then Adele at the Granada with Deidre and Michelle that night. Looks like I'm gonna be busy once again....
T-minus 1 week until spring break with Jamie in Aransas Pass. yay!
