So I went to the dentist last Wednesday so he could have a look at the tongue "bump." So I stick out my tongue and he goes, "Oh gosh I have no idea what that is. What is that? (rhetorically of course)" So he refers me to an oral surgeon to have it looked at. I went to that appoinment yesterday and after he pulled my tongue almost completely out of my mouth says, "well the botttom line is we need to get that off there and sent to a lab." So today at 10:45 am I got my tongue "bump" removed. My tongue felt 4 times the size when it was done from the numbing medication. It was weird. But, the lump isn't there, just fresh tongue tissue and cauterized bleeders. SO, here's to hoping it doesn't grow back!
This past weekend I helped build a new fence for my backyard. As a result I have poison ivy covering my entire body, bruises, and a cut phone wire. The phone/internet should be fixed by 7 pm tonight. I also have quite a tan starting on my shoulders. So, I don't look so pale, which is nice except I itch too much to really enjoy my new darkness. On Saturday morning at the house I was housesitting at I got up super early to let the dogs out and as I was walking through the kitchen I slipped on dog slobber and fell knee first to the floorwhile banging my arm along the island. I looked like I have been beat up. I'm glad last weekend is over!
This week is the last week for dance until August! Woo-Hoo! I'm ready for a break! All my costumes have finally come in. Now all I have to do is spray paint and glitterize some magic wands for my 4-5 year old class and everything will be done! Recital is on Saturday and though it will be a long exhausting day, it will just mean that Sunday officially starts summer for me! YAY!

If those recitals are over soon enough on Saturday, I know a few Braun brothers that will be in Lewisville! :)
Ah! your poor mouth?! did you at least get drugs?
I'm sorry about your tounge and I hope everything is fixed with that. Poison ivy does not sound fun...and being bruised doesn't either. I hope that all gets well soon.
Good luck with the last week of dance, I know how exciting that is! Have fun at recital!
Love you and miss you!
I hope that your tongue feels like brand new!
Rough week! I hope the weekend treats you better.
I hope you recover quickly and that it doesn't return.
